Debbie Lorenzana, a former banker at a Manhattan branch of Citibank is suing parent company Citigroup for allegedly firing her for being “too sexy.” Lorenzana, 33, reports she was getting into trouble over her outfits and her superiors were, then, unable to concentrate, and she was ordered to stop wearing turtle necks, pencil skirts, three-inch heels or fitted business suits.
Lorenzana told Village Voice that her co-workers wore far more revealing clothes, and her superiors, then, told her their body shapes were different, and that she drew too much attention.
Jack Tuckner, Lorenzana’s lawyer stated, “It’s like saying that we can’t think anymore ’cause our penises are standing up, and we cannot think about you except in a sexual manner and we can’t look at you without wanting to have sexual intercourse with you. And it’s up to you, gorgeous woman, to lessen your appeal so that we can focus.”
